The UK’s First Super Swarm: We Did It Together

We did it! On Thursday 7th October at precisely 19:02 me and more than 250 others checked into Jewel in Piccadilly to enjoy a delicious complimentary cocktail and attempt bag ourselves the superswarm badge.

The power of social media prevailed and me and my fellow foursquare-ers walked away happy to have been part of the first successful attempt to unlock the superswarm badge in the UK. You can check out the pictures from the night here.

We even managed to rouse the tech bloggers over at the FT (Financial Times) who came down to join in the action and interview some of the foursquare addicts on the night. See what they thought here.

So that just leaves me with on last thought. What’s next? The superduperswarm? We’ll just have to wait and see :0)

Britain’s First Foursquare Superswarm

If you’re a tech/social media savvy Londoner then you’re sure to be heading down to Jewel, Piccadilly Circus this evening to take part in the attempt to bag the country’s first foursquare superswarm badge.

I’ll certainly be there. Armed with my iPhone 4, a complimentary superswarm cocktail and an abundance of friendly fellow foursquare-ers. It’s sure to be a night to remember and with support suggesting a turn out of 500+ gaining the coveted superswarm badge is a definite possibility.
